Pediatric refractory nephrotic syndrome(RNS)refers to the dependence on hormones after systematic and standardized hormone therapy,or hormone therapy is ineffective,or the treatment is effective but relapses in the later stage,and it is difficult to heal.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)treatment starts from the liver,spleen,lungs and kidneys,and treats them with syndrome differentiation,which can improve the quality of life of children.This article retrieves the researches on the TCM treatment of pediatric RNS in recent years,and reviews the research status of TCM treatment of pediatric RNS from the aspects of etiology and pathogenesis,syndrome differentiation,staging and treatment,classic prescriptions,experiences of various schools,and external treatment methods of TCM,etc,so as to provide a theoretical basis for the clinical treat-ment of pediatric RNS.There are 32 references.
