The opera L'elisir D'amore is a masterpiece by Italian composer Donizetti during his peak creative period.Even today,the play continues to be a lasting performance in major theaters,captivating countless audiences with its beautiful melody and humorous plot.The aria"Una furtiva lagrima",sung by the male protagonist Nemorino in the drama,holds a crucial position throughout the entire opera.Based on the plot,this article analyzes its musical conception and form,examining modal features,timbre control,rhythm,and speed.This analysis reveals the composer's artistic originality in shaping Nemorino's character and provides ample reasons and resources for better portraying this character.
