Internal relocation of universities in South China was an important component of the internal relocation of Chinese universities during the War of Resistance Against Japan.The collection and compilation of historical materials from internal relocation of universities in South China has been ongoing since the War of Resistance Against Japan and has rapidly developed since the 1980s.So far,although certain achievements have been made in the compilation of relevant historical materials,there are still many shortcomings and regrets.Organizing and compiling comprehensive and systematic historical materials on internal relocation of universities in South China not only help to advance the research on the history of internal relocation of universities in South China during the War of Resistance Against Japan,but also deepen the research on the history of universities relocated throughout the entire War of Resistance Against Japan period,which are necessary and entirely possible.
