A Study on the Problems and Their Solutions of the Postgraduate Curriculum Setting in the English Education Specialty
At present,China has a large number of postgraduate programs and enrollments in English Education specialty,but not many scholars have carried out researches on the cultivation of postgraduates in English Education specialty.The curriculum setting is one of the most critical factors affecting the quality of postgraduate education,therefore,this paper takes the postgraduate curricula in English Education specialty in double first-class university and ordinary local university as examples to explore the problems and solutions of curriculum setting.The results of the study show:there is uneven distribution of postgraduate course resources of English Education specialty among universities at different levels,and limited availability of educational philosophy,professional selective and cutting-edge courses.In view of this,each university can implement measures such as intercollegiate course selection or employing external teachers,and add some educational philosophy,professional selective courses,and cutting-edge courses.
