摘要

杂字书是明代以来广泛流传的识字教材,于民间教育、传播文化知识有着不可忽视的功用.《东园杂字》《东园杂字大全》是明清岭南地区常见的杂字书,在西方人士中也广泛流传,成为西人学习汉语的辅助资料.杂字书的广泛流传与明清时期的识字率大幅提高有直接关联,体现了民间教育的特点,对当代教育也有一定的借鉴和启示意义.

Abstract

Zazi textbooks are widely circulated literacy textbooks since the Ming Dynasty,which play an important role in folk education and spreading cultural knowledge.Dongyuan Zazi and Dongyuan Zazi Daquan were common in Lingnan area in the late Qing Dynasty,and were also widely circulated among Westerners,and have become auxiliary materials for Westerners to learn Chinese.The widespread use of zazi books is directly related to the significant increase in literacy rate during the Ming and Qing dynasties,reflecting the characteristics of folk education and providing some reference and inspiration for contemporary education.
