The Dragon and Lion Dance is one of the popular traditional folk culture in Hong Kong society,which has a good foundation for development and dissemination advantages in Hong Kong.After the return of Hong Kong in 1997,with the joint efforts of the Hong Kong government and all sectors of the community,the Dragon and Lion Dance has been greatly developed and formed five characteristics gradually,which includes:government and society play a role together,the school system has great potential,the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage has become a prominent work,keeping up with the times and innovate,young people have become the main force of dragon and lion dance exchanges between Hong Kong and the mainland.
