Space Index Modulation Based on Antenna Index and Multiple Constellation Combination
In order to further develop the antenna index domain of wireless communication system and improve the spectrum utilization of wireless communication,a new enhanced generalized space modulation scheme(EGSM-3DQ)combining three-dimensional constellation and orthogonal amplitude modulation constellation was proposed. In the scheme, with the help of a vector index bit,a three-dimensional constellation is constructed to expand the combination of active antenna indexes. The emission vector symbol is composed of two space vector symbols, one of which is obtained by modulating the three components of the three-dimensional signal symbol into two or three activated emission antennas through a three-dimensional constellation signal mapper and an antenna index vector modulator.Another spatial vector symbol is obtained by modulating one or more quadrature amplitude modulation symbols on one or more active antennas by means of a vector selector. Finally, the squared minimum Euclidean distance and the average bit error probability of the system are analyzed, and the simulation results show that the proposed scheme improves the communication performance compared with the traditional communication system.
