Study on Technological Mineralogy of Lithium Ore from Greisen Vein in Qingling,Wushan Town,North of Lechang
In order to find out the technological mineralogical charactcristics of lithium ore from greisen vein in Qinling,Wushan Town,north of Lechang,such as chemical component,structural structure,mineral composition,particle size and dissociation of Li2O bearing minerals and occurrence mode of Li2O,a detailed process mineralogical study was carried out by chemical analysis,microscopic identification,SEM analysis,and MLA(Mineral parameter automatic analysis system).The results showed that the content of Li2O in the ore is 147 μg·kg-1.The main mineral composition of the ore is relatively simple,in addition to quartz and mica(including biotite and Muscovite),other minerals are potassium feldspar,topaz,chlorite,limonite,rutile,bismuth,zozoite,xenotime,tourmaline,calcite,fluorite,apatite and zircon,etc.,but the amount is very small.The main carrier mineral of lithium is mica,some thick ones are even greater than 2.0 mm,and generally vary between 0.2 and 1.5 mm.When the grain size is+0.30 mm,the positive cumulative distribution rate is 86.83%.The theoretical lithium(Li)content in the ore after enrichment of mica is 326 μg·kg-1.
