In the early Qing Dynasty,under the influence of the prevailing culture of compiling local poetry collections in Guangdong Province,and under the consciousness of consciously preserving local literature and continuing the lifeblood of Lingnan poetry,Huang Deng compiled the first provincial poetry collection of Guangdong Province,Selected Poems of the Five Dynasties of Lingnan."Selected Poems of the Five Dynasties of Lingnan"has the compilation characteristics of"each person has his own biography","explaining the subtle"and"choosing multiple national dynasties",and the selection of poems pays attention to"the nature"and"calming nature",which has an important significance in the compilation history of Qing poetry collection in Guangdong Province.
