Effect of Online Learning Interaction and Information Technology Accessibility on Academic Engagement of the International Students in China——The Mediating Effect of Learning Interest
To explore the effect of online learning interaction and information technology accessibility on the academic engagement of the international students in China,a sample of 2221 foreign students was investigated.Structural equational modeling was used to analyze the internal mechanism of interaction,information technology accessibility and learning interest affecting academic engagement.The results showed that online learning interaction positively influenced the academic engagement of foreign students,and learning interest partially mediated the relationship between online learning interaction and academic engagement.Information technology accessibility did not directly affect foreign students'academic engagement,while learning interest played a complete mediating role between information technology accessibility and online academic engagement.
