Design of a New Bit Interleaving Scheme for the TB-SC PLDPC-coded DCO-OFDM Systems
Based on the TB-SC PLDPC-coded DCO-OFDM systems,we first propose a new carrier matching mapping scheme based on the unequal protection characteristics of subcarriers to improve the system performance. Then, according to the improved PEXIT,the decoding thresholds of TB-SC P-LDPC code under three different interleaving schemes are analyzed. The theoretical analysis shows that, under the 16-QAM and 64-QAM modulations, the proposed new carrier matched mapping schemes can make TB-SC PLDPC code converge at 15.52 dB and 19.24 dB,respectively, while the variable node matched mapping and continuous mapping schemes require a larger signal-to-noise ratio. The simulation results also show that the performance of the proposed new carrier matched mapping scheme is better than that of their counterparts.
