The Current Status,Causes and Countermeasures of Independent Reading for Elementary School Teachers
Through a questionnaire survey of 145 elementary school teachers in Qujiang District,Shaoguan City,Guangdong Province,and interviews with 59 of their elementary school teaching and research group leaders and classroom leaders,it was found that elementary school teachers'independent reading has problems,such as utilitarian reading purpose,single reading content,insufficient reading time,low reading quantity,reading in form,and poor reading effect.These problems are mainly caused by the lack of reading motivation and correct cognition of teachers,the lack of reading atmosphere and leaders in section groups,the lack of load reduction mechanism and learning community in schools,and the lack of financial investment and professional leadership in education management departments.In order to optimize the independent reading of elementary school teachers,teachers should enhance the independent reading motivation and set up the correct reading cognition,schools should improve the load reduction mechanism and establish a reading community,sections should create a reading atmosphere and cultivate reading leaders,and education management departments should increase capital investment and provide professional leadership.
