Research Progress on the Revised Assessment Tool for Reinforcement Sensitivity Personality Theory
Reinforcement sensitivity theory(RST)views reward and punishment sensitivity as a personality trait and links it to basic learning processes as well as approach and avoidance responses to environmental stimuli and their conflicts.RST assumes the existence of three motivational systems:an approach system and two avoidance systems. With the development of the field of neurobiology, the original Reinforcement Sensitivity Theory(o-RST)has been updated to the revised Reinforcement Sensitivity Theory(r-RST).By combining the current internationally recommended assessment tools of r-RST,and analyzing the development process of different tools and their application characteristics,we hope to provide valuable references for scholars committed to the field of r-RST.
