Localization of Physical Literacy:Concept Definition,Practice Reflection and Corresponding
Physical literacy(PL)is an important concept in the field of physical activity and health promotion,and also one of the pioneering points of school physical education in the new era.However,for a long time there are many controversies about the cognition of physical literacy in the academic circle,and there are some hysteresis and deviation in practice,so it is of great significance to determine and reflect on it.It is believed that:(1)From the perspective of formal logic,it is found that the concept of physical literacy constructed by domestic scholars has controversy or misuse in connotation and extension.In terms of connotation,"literacy"as a generic concept defines the intrinsic characteristics of PL;and the translation of"sport literacy"narrows the connotation of PL,while"physical literacy"can better reflect the physical origin of the concept;PL should be positioned as the basic life quality for the whole people,it is not the embodiment of the core literacy in the physical education,and it is not appropriate to equate PL with the subject core literacy of physical education.In terms of denotation,some of the denotation systems of physical literacy have some problems,such as replacing the concept of"physical",objectification of sub-literacy and compatibility of sub-literacy.(2)In practice,the evaluation of PL is divided horizontally and the vertical connection is not smooth;the development context of physical literacy is concentrated,and the linkage with family,community and other external contexts is insufficient.In view of the above problems,we should not only build a comprehensive evaluation system,but also pay attention to creating diversified development situations in the future.
