The Construction and Empirical Study of Government Regulation Index System for Marathon Events in China
As an important part of strengthening the sports market supervision and improving the safety regulation service standards of sports events,the construction of government regulation index system for marathon events aims to play its normative,guiding and guaranteeing role,maintain a fair and just competition environment and promote the healthy and orderly development of marathon events.This study uses literature,Delphi method,interview method and analytic hierarchy process.After primary election and two rounds of expert screening,it constructs three first-level indicators including pre-competition,in-competition and post-competition regulation,10 second-level indicators and 27 third-level indicators.Then the analytic hierarchy process is used to calculate the weight coefficient of each index,and two marathons in China are tested as the empirical objects.The study shows that the scores of government regulation index of the two marathons are more consistent with the actual situation,and the government can use this regulation index system to measure the organization and management level of marathon events.Based on the application value of the government regulation index system of marathon events,the study puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions:refine the event regulation matters and strengthen the security risk assessment,strengthen the on-site control of the event and create a safe and stable environment,standardize the organization and management process and improve the event evaluation feedback.
