Spatial-temporal Evolution and Influencing Factors of the Sales of Different Types of Sports Lotteries in China
Using inter-provincial panel data from 2011 to 2020,we comprehensively apply the natural discontinuity grading method,standard deviation ellipse,Gini coefficient,kernel density estimation and other methods to explore the spatial and temporal evolution characteristics of the sales volume of different types of sports lotteries in China and the influencing factors.It is found that:(1)China's digital lotto and competition sports lottery sales have gradually increased over time,and the sales of instant sports lottery show a certain downward trend.(2)The overall evolution of the sales of various types of sports lotteries tends to be stable and balanced,with the sales of digital lotto sports lotteries distributed in a stepwise incremental distribution from the west to the east,the sales of competitive sports lotteries along the Hu Line forming an obvious pattern of east-dense and west-sparse,and the sales of instant sports lotteries showing a truncated distribution of high and low areas.(3)Preliminary factors,economic factors,social factors,self-factors,event factors,etc.are important factors affecting the spatial and temporal evolution of the sales of different types of sports lotteries in China,and there are differences in the effect of different factors on different types of sports lotteries.(4)There is a synergistic relationship between digital lotto sports lotteries and guess sports lotteries,and there is a substitution relationship between the two and instant sports lotteries.Accordingly,countermeasures are proposed to promote sports lottery sales:formulate differentiated regional development strategies,pay attention to event marketing,optimize offline lottery sales channels,make active use of Internet media,and strengthen product innovation.
