Measurement of the Coupling Level of China's Physio-medical Integration Industry and High-quality Economic Development and Spatial and Temporal Evolution Analysis
To explore the coupled development level of the integration of sports and medicine industry with high-quality economic development in China,the coupling coordination degree models and standard deviation ellipsoid models were employed.The period under consideration is from 2017 to 2021,and the study covers 30 provinces(autonomous regions or municipalities).The calculation of the coupled development level involves examining the spatial-temporal evolution characteristics and spatial differentiation influencing factors.The results indicate that:(1)The overall levels of integrated development in China's sports and medicine industry and high-quality economic development are both relatively low,concurrently exhibiting a stepwise decreasing pattern from the eastern to central and western regions.(2)The coupling coordination level between China's sports and medicine industry and high-quality economic development is on an increasing trend,but the overall coordination level remains low.There is a gradient difference in the coupled coordination development level among different provinces,forming a spatial pattern of higher levels in the eastern region,followed by the central region,and then the western region.(3)In terms of regional coordinated development trends,the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region demonstrates a high-value isolated development pattern in Beijing municipality;The Yangtze River Delta region shows a dual pattern of coastal and inland coordinated development;and the Pearl River Delta region exhibits a trend of coastal coordinated development.(4)The standard deviation ellipsoid of the coupling between China's sports and medicine industry and high-quality economic development has a northeast-southwest distribution.The center evolves from the northwest to the southeast,and the spatial distribution trend changes from aggregation to diffusion.A relatively better trend of coupled and coordinated development is observed in the southeast direction.It is recommended that we proactively advance the reconfiguration of the industrial chain to enhance regional interconnectedness;harness locational resource advantages to cultivate a comprehensive industrial ecosystem;align development strategies with the overarching framework of national comprehensive planning and aim to formulate targeted integrated development strategies.
