Examination of the Objectives of Physical Education and Health Curriculum in Compulsory Education
The objectives of physical education and health curriculum is the starting point of the entire curriculum development,which has a direct and important role in guiding physical education teaching.This article adopts research methods such as literature review,historical research,and logical analysis to analyze and speculate on the curriculum objectives during the implementation of compulsory education physical education and health curriculum standards,providing reference for promoting the reform of compulsory education physical education curriculum in China.Research suggests that:(1)The generation of curriculum objectives is mainly influenced by national leaders and social trends,curriculum objective formation theory,school sports ideology,which are the main basis for formulating curriculum objectives;(2)The physical education and health curriculum standards in 2001 and 2011 edition implemented five field(four aspects)objectives,reflecting diversified characteristics,with inaccurate concept definition,virtualization and generalization in five field(four aspects),and a lack of ideological and political education and subject essential characteristics,making it difficult to organize textbooks and conduct teaching evaluations;(3)Physical education and health curriculum standards in 2022 edition reflect three core competencies,the core competences and the curriculum objectives are contradictory,the curriculum objectives and the curriculum content setting are questionable,and the core competences need to be further refined.The construction of a new curriculum objective system,focusing on the separation and connection between compulsory education and ordinary senior high school curriculum objectives(core literacy),which is scientific and systematic in theory,and has pertinence and practicability in implementation.
