Analysis of Leaf Characteristics in Different Canopies and Position of Jujube
In the Beitian town jujube orchard in Jinzhong city of Shanxi province,the leaves characteristics on bearing branch of jujube in different canopies and positions of 19 jujube varieties were analyzed.The results showed that compared with different canopy layers,the number of leaves on bearing branch of jujube in the upper and middle layers was signifi-cantly higher than that in the lower layer.The average length and width of leaves in each canopy layer were not significantly different.Compared with different positions,there was no significant difference in the number and length of leaves on bear-ing branch of jujube.But there was a significant difference in leaf width,which the northern position was significantly high-er than the eastern and western positions.Cluster analysis of leaf area showed that Junyuxian was a large leaf variety.7 va-rieties including Malingcui,Yongji Toad Jujube,Lengbaiyu and so on were medium leaf varieties.11 varieties including Fengmiguan,Gedacui,Buluosu and so on were small leaf varieties.
