Restoration Effect of Degenerated Grassland in Yuanpingchuan Forest Farm of National Forest Administration Bureau of Guandi Mountain in Shanxi Province
The survey on the plants and soil before and after the comprehensive restoration of degraded grasslands in the Yuanpingchuan Forest Farm of National Forest Administration Bureau of Guandi Mountain in Shanxi Province was conducted in July 2021 and September 2022,and the effect of grassland restoration was analyzed. The research results indicated that the Simpson dominance index,Shannon-Wiener diversity index and Pielou evenness index of the plant community in the de-graded grassland of Yuanpingchuan Forest Farm after restoration were slightly higher than that before restoration. The popu-lation density and Margalef richness index were significantly higher than that before restoration which indicated that restora-tion measures increased the species richness of the degraded grassland. The fresh grass yield and aboveground biomass of the degraded grassland after restoration were significantly higher than that before restoration. The maximum water holding capacity, capillary water holding capacity and available potassium content of the degraded grassland soil after restoration in the Yuanpingchuan Forest Farm were slightly higher than that before restoration, while the non-capillary porosity, capillary porosity, available nitrogen content and available phosphorus content were significantly higher than that before restoration.
