Research on Insect Species and Diversity in Shrub-grass Habitat in Taihang and Lvliang Mountainous Areas of Shanxi Province
A survey and analysis of insects in typical shrub and grass habitats in Taihang and Lvliang mountainous areas of Shanxi Province was conducted in July 2022 and the diversity was studied. The results showed that a total of 1 702 insects belonging to 8 orders,40 families and 78 species were collected in the shrub-grass habitat in Taihang Mountains area. The dominant orders were Orthoptera,Hemiptera and Coleoptera, while the dominant families were Cicadellidae,Arcypteridae and Acrididae.A total of 1 958 insects belonging to 8 orders,36 families and 74 species were collected in the shrub-grass habitat of the Lvliang Mountain area. The dominant orders were Orthoptera,Coleoptera and Hemiptera, while the dominant families were Arcypteridae,Oedipodidae and Meloidae.Overall, the Margalef richness index,Shannon-Wiener diversity index and Pielou evenness index of insects in the Lvliang Mountain area were higher, which indicating that the insect spe-cies in the Lvliang Mountain area were abundant and had a relatively stable community structure. The Simpson dominance index of insects in the Taihang Mountains was higher, which indicating a high concentration of insect communities and the existence of obvious dominant populations.
