Introduction Adaptability Analysis of Hazelnut in Taiyuan City
A 1-year field observation experiment was conducted on 5 varieties of hazelnuts in Longzhuanggou Village of Changan Township of Gujiao City in Shanxi Province. The introduction adaptability was analyzed through growth indicators, yield indicators, phenological periods and other factors. The results showed that the growth patterns of the 5 hazelnut varie-ties were relatively consistent. The adaptability evaluation was conducted based on the indicators of seedling height in-crease,ground diameter increase, single plant fruit yield and pruning situation. It was preliminarily determined that Li-aozhen 7,Dawei and Pingou 15 were more suitable for the site conditions in the experimental area.According to the size of the fruit and the percentage of empty shells,it could be seen that Liaozhen 7 and Dawei had smaller shells but fuller fruits-fruit.Liaozhen 8 and Pingou 15 had larger fruit shells, but their kernels had poor plumpness. From the perspective of fruit taste,Liaozhen 8 and Yuzhui were better.According to different flowering periods,Dawei,Liaozhen 8 and Yuzhui could be set as mutually pollinating varieties, while Liaozhen 7 and Pingou 15 could be set as mutually pollinating varieties.
