Tissue Culture and Rapid Propagation of Hylocereus undatus Stem
Tissue culture and rapid propagation of Hylocereus undatus young stem were studied. The results showed: stems of different length could be induced and produced callus, and most adventitious buds could he initiated to grow, in which the best callus inductivity for 3 cm length stem reached 100%; The best culture medium of adventitious buds induction was MS + 6-BA 4.0 mg/L + NAA 0.1 mg/L on which inductivity reached 75%; The propagation ratio of adventitious buds was the highest when concentration of 6-BA was 8 mg/L and NAA 0.0S mg/L, but the growth of adventitious buds was the fastest at concentration of 1 mg/L 6-BA and 0.2 mg/L NAA. So we often use these two mediums alternately according to demands; The best rooting culture medium was 1/2 MS + IBA 2.0 mg/L.
