Study on the Optimum Formulations of Culture Material of Lentinus edodes Using Corn Stalk
With corn stalks as main material to set different medium cultivating Lentinus edodes strain X6,the effect of medium on mycelial growth,form of fruiting bodies,yield and nutrient composition was studied to determine the best formulations of culture material.The results showed that with the medium formulations of corn stalk powder 62％,sawdust 26％,wheat bran 10％,sugar 1％ and gypsum 1％,the growth of mushrooms mycelial was the most normal,color change was good,the yield of fruit body and biological efficiency were similar to those of the conventional formulations using sawdust as main ingredient,indicating that the formulations can replace the conventional formulations for the production of Lentinus edodes.
