Aromatic Plants Germplasm Resources Distribution and Landscape Application in Shanxi Province
Through a comprehensive investigation to the wild aromatic plants in Shanxi province and urban landscaping plant resources,the results show that there exists a total of 436 species of aromatic plants belonging to 262 genera in 88 families in Shanxi province.Among them,there are 170 species of woody plants belonging to 96 genera in 45 families,266 species of herb plants belonging to 168 genera in 52 families.Most natural distribution types in the north warm temperate zone-central and southeastern of Shanxi,there are 378 species,268 species the south warm temperate zone-southwest of Shanxi,less distribution (241 species) in the temperate zone-north of Shanxi.Urban landscape application of aromatic plants has 113 species.Among them,herbal aromatic plants application is only 9.73％.Based on the above analysis results,the paper proposes to strengthen the development and utilization of the wild herbal aromatic germplasm resources,and aromatic plants play a special function.
