The comparison tests between the new 14 corn hybrids and Zhengdan 958 indicate that hybrid 1, 2, 5, 8, 9, 11, 14 and 15 are better than the reference in agronomic, yield and disease resistant traits with obvious analysis results of variance, making them ready to apply for Shanxi provincial or state-level tests and production tests.Hybrid 7, 10 and 12 show ordinary performances in other traits except higher yields, and more tests are suggested.Hybrid 6 results in a better yield but not in an obvious way, while 4 and 13 fall behind the reference both in yield and other traits, and all of these three are advised to be eliminated.
