To explore the application prospect of astragalus membranaceus stem and leaf as green manure,this experiment applied fertilizer to corns with astragalus membranaceus green manure,organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer respectively in different growth periods,measuring the concentration of glutamine synthetase in corn leaves,corn yield components and component content of the related corn quality with method of randomized complete block design and fixed-point monitoring.The results showed that astragalus membranaceus green manure,organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer used separately could improve the activity of glutamine synthetase (GS) in the functional leaves,the tryptophan and lysine content and albumin,globulin and glutelin and gliadin protein components content in corn seeds,as well as improving the structure of the com crop yield.Contents of each index were significantly improved with the astragalus membranaceus green manure,especially mixing it with compound fertilizer works best,with increasing concentration of green manure,the index contents increased obviously.
