Effect of Natural Temperature Reduction on Cold Resistance Physiological Indexes of Quercus liaotungesis
In this article,one-year-old dormant branches of Quercus liaotungensis were used as materials to measure the changes of peroxidase (POD)activity, free prohne content, malondialdehyde (MDA)content and soluble sugar content in natural temperature reduction. Finally,a integrated assessment on cold resistance of Quercus liaotungensis was made. The results showed that POD activity, the free proline content, soluble sugar content and MDA content were all negative correlation with temperature, both of the four indicators increased with the decrease of temperature and decreased with the increase of temperature. On January 21th,when the temperature dropped to a minimum of-20 ℃,POD activity reached the maximum value 38.98 U/ (g·min),the free proline and soluble sugar of the two osmoregulation substance contents reached the maximum value 65.13 μg/g and 126.2 mg/g,the MDA content reached the maximum value 5.01 mol/g.By comprehensive analysis, the conclusion shows that the Quercus liaotungensis has strong cold resistance and was suitable for large area planted in Yulin area.
