Research Progress on the Function of Microbial Agents in Improving Fruit Quality
Microbial agents are preparations composed of one or more kinds of beneficial microorganisms,they can be applied in agriculture,animal husbandry,environmental protection and other fields.Microbial metabolism,diversity,reproductive capacity and other special functions are utilized to play a role in degradation of pesticide residues in the soil,so that the soil enzyme activity is enhanced,root growth and development are optimized,the root nutrient uptake is accelerated,the quality of fruits and yields are improved,and environmental pollution is reduced.With the increasing demand for fruit quality in current agricultural production,the long-term irrational application of chemical fertilisers leads to frequent occurrence of insufficient supply of soil nutrients,microbial community structure imbalance and other phenomena,advantages and potential for application of microbial agents are also gradually revealed.Through reading and organizing literature,in this paper,the research progress on the types and common strains of microbial agents,the effects of microbial agents on the appearance and inner quality of fruits,and the mechanism of microbial agents in the enhancement of fruit quality were introduced.It is also pointed out that the future research direction of microbial agents in improving fruit quality should focus on the fields such as the development of efficient microbial agents,exploration of the joint application of microbial agents and other cultivation techniques,further research on the association mechanism between microbial agents and fruit quality,and promotion of the industrial application of microbial agents.
