Based on Bourdieu's theory,this paper focuses on the third-order digital divide between online usage and offline outcomes.Based on 27 in-depth qualitative interviews with youth groups,this paper analyzes the mechanisms by which economic,cultural,and social forms of capital are transformed into digital capital,and the mechanisms by which digital capital is re-transformed into the three main forms of capital.The conclusion is that economic capital is the material basis and income of digital capital.Cultural capital is transformed into digital capital through technological socialization;social capital is converted into digital capital through social practices and social support.Digital capital can be converted into any of the three main forms of capital.Transformation into economic capital by means of network realization and commodity acquisition;transformation of knowledge into cultural capital through acquisition;it is converted into social capital by the differentiation of social relations.
