Research on the Impact Mechanism of Shanxi's Tourism Industry Development on Economic Structure Optimization from the Perspective of Resource-based Economic Transformation and Development
As China's first provincial-level,comprehensive and systematic pilot zone for the country's comprehensive reform for the transformation and development of the resource-based economy,Shanxi is a typical representative of the transformation of resource-based regions.This article selects data related to Shanxi's tourism industry and economic structure from 1993 to 2022,and uses the VAR model to empirically study the impact mechanism of resource-based regional tourism development on economic structure transformation.The results show that there is a long-term equilibrium between the size of tourism revenue and the structure of supply and demand.The development of tourism has increased the size of tertiary industries on the supply side,while the demand side has driven the consumption growth of residents in resource-based economic regions,facilitating the optimization and upgrading of economic structures.In view of this,resource-based economic regions should firmly develop the tourism industry,promote the steady growth and improvement of the tourism industry in resource-based economic regions from cultivating and improving the demand structure of the tourism industry,optimizing tourism supply,and other aspects,and promote the optimization and upgrading of the economic structure.
