Low Fertility Rate,Reproductive Rights, and the Protection of Reproductive Rights:Constructing a Reproductive Protection System with Chinese Characteristics under the Concept of Active Protection
From a multidisciplinary perspective and a global viewpoint, based on the United Nations SDG agenda, relevant international laws, and international conventions as the foundational blueprint, this paper summarizes and organizes clauses related to reproductive rights, delineating seven aspects of reproductive rights.Using this analytical framework, the current state of domestic and international practices in the protection of reproductive rights is analyzed.Several specific countermeasures and suggestions are proposed for constructing a reproductive protection system with Chinese characteristics under the concept of active protection. These recommendations aim to provide references for promoting the development of a Chinese-characteristic reproductive protection system and improving laws, regulations, and public policies on the protection of reproductive rights.
