With the deep development of digitalization and informatization,platform government,as a new form of government,is playing an increasingly important role in the governance process.The platform government is rooted in a rich theoretical foundation and exhibits characteristics of collaboration,openness,interactivity and digitalization.Structurally,the platform government consists of front,middle,and back offices,corresponding to the operational processes of collecting and responding to demand,matching supply and demand,and integrating information supply,with service-oriented,responsive,holistic,and open government as the value orientation."Unified Online Government Service"for government services and"Unified Management with One Network"for urban governance in Shanghai are vivid practices of platform government,which are consistent with platform government in aspects such as concept,structure,process and so on.In practice,the construction of platform government faces a series of challenges such as mismatch between supply and demand,digital divide,multiple assessments,and poor coordination among departments.It requires further exploration and innovation,including concept reshaping,institutional mechanism optimization,technological innovation,structural process coupling,and improving the quality and ability of staff.
