The Triple Path of Urban Ecological Governance in China under the Low Carbon Goal
With the acceleration of climate change, resource depletion, and urbanization,low-carbon ecology has become an inevitable trend in urban governance. However, there are existing problems in the current ecological governance of Chinese cities, such as urban environmental destruction, imbalanced urban ecological structure, inadequate public facilities, and incomplete ecological environmental protection regulations.Ecological governance in cities needs to address issues from policy, technology, and social perspectives.First,at the policy level,it is necessary to improve laws and regulations related to urban ecological environmental protection, implement low-carbon economic policies, enhance urban management levels, and construct eco-friendly cities.Secondly,at the technological level, promoting low-carbon technologies, optimizing urban energy structures, promoting a virtuous cycle of urban ecological environment, and constructing a perfect urban ecological structure and smart cities are essential.Lastly,at the social level, enhancing residents'awareness of environmental protection, increasing social organizations'participation, and improving citizen participation mechanisms are crucial.Urban ecological governance is a long-term task requiring interdisciplinary and cross-domain cooperation.Continuous improvement and innovation in practice are necessary to effectively achieve low-carbon goals.
