Japan's cities and architecture have formed their own characteristics as they develop,which is largely contributed by the management of urban architectural features through guidance and restriction.These works involve many components,including a systematic policy system,all-around guidance and restriction from the urban space to details,and the coordination of multiple groups'participation.These practices of Japan's urban architectural management can provide helpful reference for the guidance and restriction of urban architectural features in China.
