Gentrification is a characterization and result of urban renewal, which can effectively promote the"regeneration"and"rejuvenation"of the inner city, but its development also has negative effect on the protection and sustainable development of local intangible cultural heritage(ICH),which is mainly manifested in the fact that gentrification has changed the cultural ecology for the survival of ICHs,compressed the cultural sites for ICH practice, led to the multi-dimensional displacement of the inheritor groups and damaged the diversity and authenticity of ICHs.Based on this,it is necessary to command the policy, social and other opportunities at the level of ICH conservation and urban renewal in China. In terms of top-level design,we should strengthen the policy planning and promote the integration of the comprehensive conservation of ICHs and urban development;in terms of scientific and technological media,we should strengthen the application of science and technology and promote the intelligent protection and dissemination of urban ICHs;in terms of social participation,we should enhance the social consciousness, and encourage the stakeholders to help in the conservation and inheritance of ICHs.This article hopes to provide a useful reference for the comprehensive conservation of ICHs in the process of urban gentrification.
