The Historical Evolution and Development Path of Urban Culture Research——Taking Shanghai as an Example
Urban culture is an important branch of cultural research,and the construction of Shanghai's urban culture is facing an important period of how to promote the socialist international cultural metropolis.The study used 680 research papers on Shanghai's urban culture from China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)from 1998 to 2023 as samples.With the help of Citespace software and the use of bibliometric analysis and text analysis methods,an in-depth analysis was conducted on the publication volume,hot topics,and evolutionary trends of Shanghai's cultural related research.The following points are found:the research on Shanghai culture is dominated by local research institutions in Shanghai,and the number of publications fluctuates and increases year in year out;The research focuses on cultural tracing,resource exploration,and the cultural industry.The research timeline extends from the setting up of the city's cultural image,the establishing of city brands to building a cultural exchange platform.Finally,the key directions for future cultural research in Shanghai and the path for urban cultural construction were proposed,aiming to promote the construction of Shanghai as a socialist international cultural metropolis and promote the construction and development of national urban culture.
