Measurement and Evaluation of Regional Coordinated Development in Hunan Province
Based on General Secretary Xi Jinping's theoretical exposition on regional coordinated development,the index system of regional coordinated development at the provincial level is constructed.It is estimated that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the regional coordinated development index of Hunan Province has increased from 0.580 in 2012 to 0.703 in 2022,and the three scores of equalization of basic public services,balanced infrastructure accessibility and people's living standards have improved to varying degrees in the past decade,and the internal equilibrium of the four major plates in Hunan Province has been continuously improving.From the perspective of inter-provincial comparison,the level of regional coordinated development in Hunan Province is in a backward position,which is relatively lagging behind.In this regard,Hunan Province needs to continue to increase capital investment in basic public services and infrastructure in high-quality development,build an economic and geographical power system based on the coordinated development of the four major sectors,and promote the coordinated development of regions in the province in stages and according to local conditions.
