Since China's development entered a new era in 2012,the local chronicles in Jiangsu Province have underg-one rapid development and made great achievements in the aspects of new chronicle compilation,yearbook publication,old chronicle collation,and information technology application.The process has demonstrated the characteristics of the times,such as upholding the leadership of the Party,compiling chronicles for the people,keeping pace with the times,and becom-ing more normalized and law-based.After the 20th CPC National Congress,the local chronicles development in Jiangsu Province will surely go beyond these achievements.
