In the years from the Han Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty,the reference to Suishan Mountain was rather vague.In the years from the Han Dynastyto the Jin Dynasty,Suishan Mountain was considered to be roughly located in the Yuexi County southwest of Mount Emei.In the years from the Sui Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty,Suishan Mountain was con-sidered the mountains on both sides of the Dadu River in Jinkouhe District,Ebian County and Emei City.After the Song Dynasty,due to the vagueness of its location and the county names in the previous literature,Suishan Mountain went through the localization process and materialized from an imaginary mountain into real-life Zhong'e Mountain and Dapeng Mountain.In later dynasties,it was believed that there were two Suishan Mountains in Shu region.The name of Suishan Mountain and its unique culture were used as resources for shaping local history and constructing local identity.
