Municipal infrastructure is the infrastructure required for the survival and development of cities,and it is an important part of the urban spatial landscape.Shanghai is a pilot city in China to explore the landscape enhancement of municipal infrastructure.This paper discusses how Shanghai takes the study and implementation of the new round of urban master plan as an opportunity to formulate municipal infrastructure landscape enhancement strategies through a programmatic approach,and continues to promote a series of documents,guidelines,standards,regulations and activities,forming a series of planning and governance achievements that reflect people-oriented conceptual innovation,multi-measures methodological innovation,construction and management synergy,and social participation in practice innovation,the innovative practice process of promoting the continuous improvement of the quality of Shanghai's municipal infrastructure landscape.
