Research and practice on detecting underground obstacles using the kinematic features of transient surface wave
Surface wave exploration in urban engineering geophysical exploration is mainly based on velocity detection of multi-channel transient surface waves. In practical application, complex surface conditions and high operation time requirements often occur, which limits the applicability of this method.Based on the in-depth analysis of the propagation mechanism of the transient surface waves, this paper summarizes the kinematic characteristics of the transient surface waves, and puts forward a new understanding of how to use these characteristics to rapidly detect underground obstacles. In engineering practice, the improved and optimized detection technology and operation process have achieved remarkable engineering results, and effectively improved the application range and time-efficiency of the transient surface wave detection in urban underground obstacles..
