Research practices on ecological protection and systemic governance of plateau lake basins:taking the Erhai Basin in Yunnan as an example
The integrated protection and systematic management of mountain-river-forest-farmland-lake-grassland-sand are crucial for ensuring ecological safety and promoting high-quality economic and social development in the lake basins of the Yun-Gui Plateau.Drawing on the ecological foundation of the typical Mountain-Dam-Lake System(MDLS)in this region, this study employs a combination of qualitative analysis and case studies using the Yunnan Erhai River Basin as an example to investigate the systematic management approach of MDLS.It proposes a"four-in-one"conceptual model and a"six-major"engineering system tailored for MDLS in plateau lake basins with the aim of providing valuable references for comprehensive implementation of systematic management practices in these areas.
