Chinese Translation of Arrhythmia-Specific Questionnaire in Tachycardia and Arrhythmia Health-Related Quality of Life and Its Reliability and Validity Test
Objective To translate the Arrhythmia-Specific Questionnaire in Tachycardia and Arrhythmia Health-Related Quality of Life(ASTA-HRQoL)into Chinese and test its reliability and validity in patients with tachyarrhythmia. Methods The ASTA-HRQoL scale was translated and cross-culturally adapted into Chinese. From October 2019 to October 2020,192 patients with tachyarrhythmia in a Grade Ⅲ-A hospital in Shenyang were selected by convenience sampling to test the reliability and validity of the scale. Results For the Chinese version of ASTA-HRQoL,the Cronbach's alpha was 0.887,the split-half reliability was 0.866,and both the scale-level content validity index and item-level content validity index were 1.0.Confirmatory factor analysis showed that the factor loading was above 0.5 for all items, the chi-square for model fit/degree of freedom was 1.926,the root mean square error of approximation was 0.078,the goodness-of-fit index was 0.891,the comparative fit index was 0.927,the incremental fit index was 0.928,and the Tucker-Lewis index was 0.911.For the two dimensions of the scale, the composite reliability was 0.872 and 0.842,respectively,and the average variance extracted was 0.495 and 0.472,respectively;there was a significant correlation between the two dimensions(P<0.01),with the absolute value of the correlation coefficient less than 0.5 and also less than the square root of the corresponding average variance extracted. Conclusion With good reliability and validity, the Chinese version of ASTA-HRQoL is suitable for assessing the health-related quality of life in patients with tachyarrhythmia in China.
