Objective To investigate the care burden of primary caregivers of patients undergoing liver cancer interventional therapy and analyze its influencing factors. Methods A total of 98 primary caregivers were selected by convenience sampling who cared for liver cancer patients undergoing interventional therapy in Ganzhou People's Hospital from April 2021 to June 2023.They were investigated using the General Information Questionnaire,Herth Hope Index(HHI),Family Functioning Style Scale(FFSS)and Caregiver Burden Inventory(CBI)and analyzed for the current care burden and its possible influencing factors. Results For the 98 primary caregivers of patients undergoing liver cancer interventional therapy, the CBI scores were(62.50±6.52)points,indicating a generally high level of care burden.Multivariate analysis showed that the care burden of the primary caregivers of patients undergoing liver cancer interventional therapy was influenced by household monthly income, education level of primary caregivers, hope level and family function, which can explain 58.7%of the variation(F=58.339,P<0.05).Conclusion The care burden is relatively high among the primary caregivers of patients undergoing liver cancer interventional therapy. The influencing factors may be household monthly income, educational level of primary caregivers, hope level and family function.Clinical nurses should take targeted measures for caregivers as appropriate to alleviate their concerns and assist them in managing the care burden.
