This paper discusses the difference of spatial distribution of wetland nature reserves and wetland parks based on precipitation line,surface runoff,dry areas and humidity areas.We analyzed the density distribution correlation of wetland nature reserves and wetland parks by Kernel density and band collection statistics tool of ArcGIS,and calculated their overlap and complementation by raster calculator.We also analyzed the spatial distribution equilibrium degree of wetland nature reserves and wetland parks by Gini coefficient,comprehensive density index among eight economic regions of China.The results showed that most wetland nature reserves and wetland parks were distributed within 400-800 mm precipitation range but wetland nature reserves are nearer to the rivers and its density is higher in semi-humid regions.The area of most wetland parks is relatively small.The average Kernel density of wetland nature reserves and wetland parks is 0.49× 10-4 ind./km2 and 0.45 × 10-4 ind./km2 respectively,and has no significant correlation between these two protected forms (r =0.31).The nearest neighbor index of wetland nature reserves and wetland parks are all less than 1 which showed their aggregated distribution.On regional scale,Gini coefficient of wetland nature reserves and wetland parks is 0.93 and 0.8,and their comprehensive density index indicated the distribution differences among different economic regions.Wetland nature reserves were mainly distributed in the northeast,southeast and southwest China where the wetland resources are abundant,and played a major role in wetland ecosystem protection.Wetland parks tended to be near the northern coasts and eastern coastal areas where the economic development is rapid.Wetland parks are closer to people's life,so they are important to wetland resource protection and utilization,and promote the harmonious development of society and wetland ecosystem.
