Plant Diversity in the Restored Riparian Wetlands along the Downstream of Songhua River
Based on field investigation of plant communities in the restored riparian wetlands along the downstream of Songhua River in August 2015,the important value, richness indexes and species diversity were analyzed to assess restoration results of plant communities. The results showed that 31 species were recorded, which belong to 17 families and 24 genera, and Gramineae,Compositae and Cyperaceae were dominant. The method of two-way indicator species analysis was used to classify species. The plants in 31 quadrats could be classified into 3 plant communities which were Echinochloa crusgalli community,Carex schmidtii community and Carex orthostachys community, respectively.Echinochloa crusgalli,Carex schmidtii,Carex orthostachys,Calamagrostis angustifolia andAcorus calamus were dominant species in the restored wetlands. The richness index and Shannon-Weiner index of Carex orthostachys community was the highest among 3 plant communities, while the same indices of Carex orthostachys community was the lowest.Simpson index and Pielou evenness index of Carex orthostachys community,Carex schmidtii community and Carex orthostachys community decreased by degrees.
