摘要
苏州是章太炎晚年讲学的阵地.章氏自1932年秋至1934年春四次赴苏讲学,1934年秋更定居苏州,创办章氏国学讲习会,直至1936年6月病逝.章太炎晚年讲学一方面意在培养国学人才,以抵制新文化运动的冲击;另一方面意在阐发儒家精神,以国学救世.章太炎苏州讲学源于苏州士绅的盛情邀请和大力支持,章太炎晚年在苏州讲学并定居,显示出当时苏州城市的思想文化动向.
Abstract
The present paper,delineating the lectures given by Zhang Taiyan,a well-known modern Chinese schol-ar,in Suzhou from 1932 to 1936,when Zhang passed away there,suggests that Zhang's endeavor was meant to resist the impact of New Culture Movement by cultivating young talents having a good command of traditional Chinese scholarship and at the same time to carry forward the Confucian spirit with the pur-pose of saving China by reviving the traditional scholarship.
