The present paper,making a detailed analysis of Jinlu jieyao(Collected Information about the Jurchen),which was authored by Zhang Hui,who had been captured by the Jurchen army and worked for them for over one decade and finally fled to the Southern Song in 1140,believes that Zhang's work,an information book renowned for its authentic,abundant records of Jurchen political and military affairs,is very helpful to the study of Song-Jurchen wars and Jurchen political struggles.
