Treasury and Anti-Japanese Currency:The Financial Struggle in Eastern Zhejiang's Anti-Japa-nese Bases from the Perspective of Nationalist-Communist Relations
The present paper,reconstructing the financial history of eastern Zhejiang's CCP-led anti-Japanese bases,where a series of measures,such as establishing treasury and issuing the base area's own currency,was taken to ease economic difficulties and resist depreciation of Guomindang's Fabi(legal currency),argues that the eastern Zhejiang's base area was financially distinct from other areas and suggests researchers pay attention to the complexity and difficulty of financial struggle against aggressive Japanese forces.
